Technology Integration and Fire
In what ways can technology integration in classrooms be like a fire?
This blog is a space for reflections and presentation / workshop feedback. My primary blog is "Moving at the Speed of Creativity," accessible on http://www.speedofcreativity.org.

A teacher can create sparks and get the students interested in the technology. Continuously adding more technology causes interests to grow, thus growing the fire.

Like a fire throws sparks, technology too can spark the students attention. Today it seems as if they learn better if technology is integrated into the various lessons. Also, a fire requires attention and continual maintenance. You need to move logs, add paper, etc. to maintain its warmth. Technology integration also needs additional components to maintain its effect.

Wow! This question and activity alone is getting me thinking about some possibilities for generating and immediately reviewing -- or otherwise working with -- written work created very quickly in the classroom. . . .
