I am wondering if there will be any other websites blocked for our training besides Flickr, I am glad to see that blogger is not blocked! :-)

I am definitely a blank slate where blogging is concerned! I have never posted a blog or even read others' blogs. It sounds like a teaching tool that the students would enjoy. My questions are: How feasible is it to implement blogging AND cover the rest of the curriculum in a timely manner? How does blogging relate to the skills students need to know for TAKS?

How does blogging work at a low SES school where students do not have computer access at home? One of the videos talked about posting homework assignments and absent work.

When I watch the national news, I often hear them referring to blogs that they find on the internet. How do they find these? Do they have their own website that people are blogging on?

Another question, involving the classroom, is how often would you use this in the classroom? Do a lot of people use this in their room?

I've attended several web safety courses that talked about the dangers of students putting names and school and other personal information on the web. How can I use this effectively in my classroom and keep my kids safe at the same time?
