This is an idea that is probably ahead of its time unless all the training and support issues have been thought of and worked through...

The opportunity for underdeveloped nations to have wireless communications is great but why not have the same capabilities for some underdeveloped areas of our country.

I am excited about this program for underdeveloped nations. It will energize our classrooms for the gifted and talented and middle learning groups too!

My students can afford to buy $100 shoes ,grandma helps and will buy them almost anything, I might even be able to kick up 100 bucks. Let them be available in USA.

Is there evidence that putting laptops in the hands of every student actually increases student achievement?

Do TAKS scores increase wherever all students have laptops?

I really think the ideas is innovative...and will give amny students access to things theyty never would have without the technology. It is a way to make the wrold so much smaller!

I do worry about moving too quickly into things and educators not being adequately prepared...

It's exciting! It challenges me to think about all of the changes that would take place in my classroom if all of my students had laptops on an everyday basis.

Initially, I would say that all my students need one of these, then I start to freak out and wonder how I can control what they are doing with this tool?

It is a great idea to help all students to have access to computers and technology to expose them to a world of information to help in their futures.
